As the summer finishes and the wave of new senior graduates comes through, here’s a lovely urban photoshoot in Honolulu, Hawaii that I had! Vinyls, on the docks, and even on rooftops, urban photoshoots are a blast!
These senior grad pics are definitely one-of-a-kind. Micaiah wanted to have some really cool senior portraits taken, so we went out to Honolulu, Hawaii and made some magic happen! In town, there’s copious graffiti walls and art like below. You can see many unique works of art that would be absolutely awesome to take pictures next to.
Another iconic moment that I love from this portraits photoshoot is the record store. These types of stores aren’t plentiful in Hawaii, but the one we went to was absolutely adorable and had all the vibes. It’s such a cool place to take your senior grad pics. Looking through the vinyls, CDs, and even walking under a disco ball; it’s all magical!
There’s even rooftop areas in Honolulu that’s desirable to drop by. Nothing more iconic than “standing on top of the world!” Rooftop photoshoots are always super popular with senior graduation pictures. After the time in the city, we hit some docks nearby as well. Being in Hawaii and all, of course taking some pictures near the ocean is also such a classic move we can pull. This session was done a while back, but I absolutely love everything about it and miss this day!
