This has to be one of the dreamiest maternity photoshoots that I’ve had at this Oahu beach. Golden hour sunset, an outfit change, and a couple ready to play in the water; we’re all ready to make memories!
Here is Joyce & Ivan’s gorgeous Oahu, Hawaii photoshoot. Best times to take pictures are going to be at sunrise and sunset at golden hour. Luckily, it seems as if the cloudy weather is clearing up as this session’s sunset skies were perfect. There were rainbows, the lighting was perfect, and skies were the limit.
The couple had an outfit change. Joyce initially wore a beige dress was showed off her baby bump in the most flattering ways, and Ivan wore a white button up with beige slacks, coordinating with Joyce. For beach photoshoots, a safe choice is going to be with a neutral color palette. For Joyce’s second outfit, she wore a black bikini and white button up open! This is such a classic amongst maternity photoshoots as you really get to appreciate your body as its going through the journey to bring new life into the world. And for Ivan, he coordinated once more with Joyce and had a white shirt with black shorts. The two look amazing together!
We did some shots in and out of water. Taking photos of couples who aren’t afraid to play around is definitely time well spent. Why spend your time posing for a photographer when you can make real memories at the shoot itself? When you’re booking, don’t be nervous and allow yourself to have fun! I more than welcome it and encourage your playful side to come out!
