This outdoor family photos session with the Tagama family at Kualoa Beach in Oahu, Hawaii was definitely a fun time for the books!
One of the perks of shooting an outdoor sunset photo session is that there’s not too many people, it’s not too hot, and the sun soft and light. The sun came up behind the lush green Hawaiian mountains and cascaded down onto the golden green field we were standing on, providing a gorgeous shooting location! Not to mention, the field was right next to a beautiful sand beach.
I was having so much fun getting all the grouping together to shoot—grandparents, men of the family, women of the family, adults, kids, and even the smaller individual families within. The family decided to go with a blue and white theme for the session, with some of the patterns on their clothes being aloha print!
The children were such sweethearts to talk to, and while I was busy photographing the adults, the children were chasing each other around the green field—so cute!
This was a memorable shoot that I hope was not only fun for me, but I hope for the Tagama family as well!
