Beautiful Kualoa, Hawaii engagement at golden hour on the beach and in the fields. Such a fun and playful session with digital and film!
Sydney and Derek had their sweet little couples session out at Kualoa in Oahu, Hawaii. For those who live here or frequent my work, you might recognize this location. The small island in the background is called Mokoli’i island, or more famously known as Chinaman’s Hat! This is always such a hit with people who look to book with me and is definitely a wonderful location for not only engagement pictures, but also elopements, families, portraits, and more!

For Sydney, her first outfit was a flowy pink dress which I’m such a huge fan of! Derek wore a white button up and khakis to go with Sydney. They make such a cute couple! For Sydney’s second outfit, a white blouse and jeans, with Derek wearing a blue striped top and off-white pants. I love how they coordinated with this one!
With some shots of the beach facing Mokoli’i and also field shots with the Ko’olau mountains in the back, this location works perfectly for many sessions. Sydney and Derek make such a lovely couple and I had so much fun taking their engagement pictures!
