A gorgeous intimate maternity photoshoot in Oahu, Hawaii. This cloudy day mood added to the wondrous and calming chapter that’s soon to be in their lives—parenthood!
Alisha and Michael’s maternity photoshoot is nothing short of a dream. The weather was overcast and the wind was strong, along with the waves. Even though the weather was a little dreary, it doesn’t mean that amazing photos can’t come out of it. Because the clouds are blocking the sun, the lighting was actually perfect for these two. So don’t think it’s the end of the world when it’s overcast! Furthermore, there weren’t too many people on the beach and allowed for a much more intimate and enjoyable session for Alisha and Michael.
This location is a gem. You can see the gorgeous and lush green mountains in the background while also having your pictures done in the sandy beaches and shallow waves. This place optimal if you would like very scenic and one-of-a-kind photos. On other days, you can count on this location being sunny and perfect with soft skies. It really is just an all-around ace!
I absolutely loved this couple’s outfits. To begin, Alisha wore a green two-piece outfit that perfectly matched the mountains and forest trees behind her. If anything, the cloudiness helped highlight her outfit with the setting! Michael wore a khaki shorts and a white button up to coordinate with her. On the second outfit change, Michael stayed in his outfit while Alisha brought out another two-piece. This one was cream-colored and looked of knit material—too cute! Seriously such a fan of this session and every little bit of it.
