In this gorgeous and magical sunrise maternity photoshoot, Griselda shows off her baby that’s soon to be born!
This has to be one of my favorite photoshoots. Griselda is a long time client of mine, and I not only shot this maternity, but also her engagement, family, and first maternity sessions! This makes this shoot all-the-more sweeter and I cannot be more grateful that she chose me to document her many wonderful stories.
This beautiful shoot happened at sunrise and we went to Makapu’u Lighthouse Beach to capture her special moments. Griselda decided to wear a stunning, bold yellow flowing dress. I had Griselda hold her baby bump so that the loose dress would wrap around her tummy, showing off the baby! They’re so beautiful!
I thought the sky was perfect for this morning. As you might be able to see, there were quite a few clouds in the sky which could make-or-break the session, but they did their job. The sun shone through the clouds and gave off the best lighting for this sunrise shoot.
Some things that people are nervous about in beach or water photoshoots is ruining their clothing or makeup. But I believe the water makes the session even more fun, unique, and magical! Towards the end, I had Griselda stand in the water of the shallow tidepool, and you have to admit, she looks ethereal!
Clients are always the best—especially when they come back. It’s always such a pleasure and experience to capture new chapters of Griselda’s life!
