Intimate wedding at Foster Botanical Garden in Oahu, Hawaii. These two tied the knot on a rainy, but sunny, day in the garden gazebo.
Maia and Cayde’s wedding at the Foster Botanical Garden in the heart of Honolulu was the sweetest day ever. The weather was both sunny and rainy this day which led to some wet garden grounds but all in all, a lovely day. The day started with an intimate first look. The two were so excited and happy to see each other which is what’s most important on your wedding day. Even if you’re a bit nervous, even having your lifelong best friend with you can calm all your nerves.
Following, the ceremony took place in the botanical garden’s gazebo. It had begun raining a bit during the ceremony, so it was perfect that they were able to be wed under the roof! If you’re a wedding superstition believer, you’ll know that rain on a wedding day can mean good luck. Per the action of trying to unravel a wet rope knot, it’s incredibly difficult. Hence, if rain pours on your wedding day while you “tie the knot,” you will have a marriage that will be hard to unravel! This is definitely a favorite amongst beliefs about marriages and good luck and I wish all the best to this couple.
The wedding reception takes place indoors with all friends and family present. Maia and Cayde had their fun entrance and immediately slipped into the first dance. Traditionally, a bride and groom sit at a sweetheart table, separate from everyone. However to remain close to their family throughout the day and night, the couple sat with everyone which I think is the cutest. This wedding was such a pleasure to attend and it couldn’t have been more beautiful and full of love.
