A mountain-side wedding at the iconic Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. From shooting this couple’s proposal to their wedding, witnessing it all couldn’t have been more of a privilege!
A couple years ago, these two had their engagement and surprise proposal photoshoot. Kualoa must be a special place for these folks, because if you had a look at their engagement on my blog, they also got engaged not too far from where the wedding today is taking place. How sweet! I always feel that it’s more sweeter when I get to witness multiple chapters of someone’s life, and to capture both an engagement and wedding is certainly so wonderful.
Haley and Kaimana had so many wonderful moments at their wedding at Paliku Gardens. Haley had a cute first look with her father, but the tears of joy from Kaimana during their first look was the best to capture. Their ceremony even had a boy with a sign that said, “Uncle Kaimana, your bride is coming,” which I thought was such a fun touch! Also, the nice thing about this venue is that there is so much space since it’s on a ranch. They had some folks sitting, but I loved all the folks who were on the hillside watching their loved ones tie the knot. Haley and Kaimana sealed their love with a kiss and then it was off to the awesome cocktail hour and reception.
For the reception, it started out with the wedding party and the couples dancing their way into the night, which is always so iconic. The cake cutting is always so fun because finally, after all the festivities, the couple gets to enjoy some food and desserts! And lastly, Haley put on a performance of hula for her husband and danced beautifully in her wedding dress. Everyone cheered her on and watched her graceful movements, what an incredible moment to witness!
