Love is definitely in the air. Hawaii is no exception, especially with these two lovebirds who actually got engaged on the session! Here is Haley and Kaimana at Kualoa on Oahu, Hawaii with their couples session turned engagement session!
Nothing makes me happier than when I realize that I get to be a part of another engagement-proposal photoshoot. There is little that is more exciting than seeing the realization on the proposee’s face when all the pieces click together.
Behind the scenes of this shoot, I worked with Kaimana on that details of the perfect session to lead up to the big moment. We would start off taking pictures is the fields of Kualoa in Kaneohe. Luckily, it wasn’t too hot or bright out with the clouds blocking the sun. Nothing worse than sweating your glam off during a shoot! I was able to take some pictures of them in the fields while unbeknownst to Haley, we had another person set up the marriage proposal spot. Such a thrilling feeling!
Eventually, we headed over to the beach which is in perfect view of Mokolii island, more famously known as Chinaman’s Hat. Once we came across the spot, I could tell the excitement was rising. With sweet words exchanged, Kaimana got on one knee and popped the big question. And of course, Haley said yes!
Following, we took pictures on my Fuji Film camera and some shots on the beach. The setup was perfect, and so was the day. Love truly prevails all!
