Here is Valerie and Stephen for a beautiful beach engagement photoshoot. These two were so wonderful to work with, and I absolutely loved the energy that they brought to the session. There’s nothing more exciting than fun couples who are down to have some fun and make some memories!
I absolutely adore this location, especially for engagement pictures in Oahu. I always like to start in the fields near the ocean. It’s a nice contract from the normal sand and and beach, and also, the mountains, field, and ocean all next to each other is so incredible. The shimmering grasses, the westside mountains, and the bright daylight, such a beautiful scene!
Following the time in the fields, we went down to the beach for the iconic sunset photos. It was about this time that it perfectly became golden hour. This sky was so special with the fiery hues of orange at the very end but remaining a pure and soft golden yellow throughout. The waves were also a little crazy too, and I love when my couples are down to dip their feet in for a bit. The waves washing up beside you, the ocean crashing against the rocks, and the sun setting in the back; what a beautiful way to announce your engagement!
