Hawaii Polo Club Wedding in Waialua, Hawaii: Part Two

Here is part two of the Hawaii Polo Club wedding in Waialua, Hawaii. You can read part one here!

We lift off from the last post and begin with the outdoor ceremony. The ceremony setup was a wooden podium, dreamy white roses and baby’s breath flowers, and white chairs to the right. As the bride and groom were walked down the aisle by their friends and family, horses walked around in the background, adding a fun memory before the ceremony.

Unlike most weddings, Lorelei and Russel sat down as the officiant talked behind the podium. They stood up towards the end when they presented each other’s rings and spoke their vows. Once they shared a sweet kiss, the newly wedded couple walked down the aisle with cheers and hurrah!

Following the ceremony, the fun outdoor reception began! The reception maintained an elegant theme with the minimal white rose and baby’s breath vases and tea light candles as centerpieces! Even the white two-tiered cake seemed to fit in. A super cool add-on to the reception was the Tiny Bubbles mobile bar where there were his and her drinks! So cute!

The outdoor reception was full of life. As the first dance began, bridesmaids and groomsmen paired up to make an entrance. Then, the first dance began and everyone was quiet as they watched the couple. The father daughter and mother son dances were also just as emotional with a few sneaky tears shed.

Something that made this wedding truly amazing was the hula dances! Lorelei’s mother performed a dance in a red dress that was truly spectacular. Lorelei also performed a Hawaiian hula for Russel which she couldn’t stop beaming throughout. And the finale was all of the bridesmaids and more performing for the reception at night. So beautiful and it moved everyone to dance on the outdoor stage!

To wrap up the night, both of the couple’s parents spoke into the audience. It was an emotional speech and one that brought everyone, including myself, to tears!

Lorelei and Russel—thank you for letting me capture not only your engagement, but also your gorgeous wedding. Everything was beyond magical and I wish you all the best in your newly wedded life together!
