With Valentine’s Day rolling around soon, I thought I’d bring up a session from last year where I really felt the love. Late in 2023, Jee and Luke headed out with me to the east coast of the island where we took sunrise pictures! This session was for their engagement which I’m so happy I was able to capture!
This morning was absolutely perfect. Some clouds in the sky, a quaint morning without many people around, and we were able to get to the “golden hour.” Quite often, people associate golden hour with the sunset, but there’s also one in the morning which is beautiful for photoshoots! The lighting is quite literally more golden and you can scroll down to the bottom where you can see the sun popping out towards the end.
On the topic of attire, I adored this couples attire! Luke was sporting a black button up with tiny prints all over—casual but a little more chic. Jee came in with lovely pink tulle skirt! She looked like a princess in this shoot—so cute. Dresses are always something fun you can wear to a shoot. There’s always so much to do with them like twirl to exhibit the skirt or throw the side in the air to create a bit of texture in the picture.
I’m so glad I was able to be a part of Jee & Luke’s love story. This was such a session to remember and such sweet memories were captured this day.
