I love a surprise proposal. There’s so much effort that goes into a surprise proposal that is unseen, the calling around, getting flowers, and of course, picking out the ring. Who knows what was discussed beforehand, whether you know it’s coming or not, all the behind the scenes is the sweetest. For this proposal, Ivan bought a lei po’o, spaghetti, and even tulips to the photo shoot and there’s so much thought going into this. Even further, the location was this gorgeous empty beach, and we love an intimate only-you-guys proposal. Of course she said yes!
Ivan and Darby got to take their engagement pictures following, some dancing around and being cute in front of the camera, they’re such naturals! A good reason to have the photoshoot the same time you get engaged because you’re both so excited to be engaged, we want to see those raw, happy emotions!
